Bedford Redevelopment Commission approves payments for the new Police Station

BEDFORD – Today at noon, the Bedford Redevelopment Commission met and approved some of the last payments for the new Bedford Police Station on 16th Street.

While not the final invoices, the end is in sight for construction and set-up. The list of payments approved at today’s meeting are as follows:

  • Midwestern Engineers Inc. – Fox Construction Inc. Contract Pay Application Request No. 9 – $2,000 –
  • Midwestern Engineers Invoice No. 202205600-08 – $5,500 – Construction Engineering

    • Invoice 5623 – Labor – Cameras/HICOM – $70
    • Invoice 5632 – Labor – Diagram Drawing – $105
    • Invoice 5648 – Labor – Mounting monitors; pulled new Fiber/HDMI cables for dispatch; Updated switch configs for ECS; ran ethernet cables for office desks; collected specs and researched products for setup of new dispatch area parts – monitor free standing mount; Cat5e patch cable; 24″ Asus monitors; Brother printer; cord cover wall cable hider; monitor cable – $6,359.13
  • HICOM Inc. Invoice No. 26397 – $37,976.13
    • Remainder amount for Surveillance Camera Hardware/Software
    • Labor charges to run wire, install surveillance cameras, interrogation cameras, installation of monitors, and provide training for Tech RM; Tech DM; Tech DC; Tech TH; shipping charges; wall mount (pulled from contingency allowance).
