Seymour conquers BNL in four sets

SEYMOUR – Seymour fought off Bedford North Lawrence in four sets during high school volleyball action on Wednesday night.

The Owls recorded a 25-14, 22-25, 25-16, 25-16 triumph in a match that was postponed on Tuesday because of a power outage at the gymnasium.

Camryn Anderson paced the Stars with 17 kills and 18 digs. Kendlyn Alvey totaled 14 digs, Sammie Gratzer had 12 kills and 10 digs, Trinidy Bailey added 13 digs and 38 assists, Suttyn Alvey had 12 digs, Isabelle Harding recorded 5 kills and 4 digs, and Zoey Shelton had 4 kills.

BNL (7-19 overall and 0-6 in the Hoosier Hills Conference) will conclude the regular season by hosting Loogootee (and celebrating Senior Night) on Thursday.
