Man arrested after alleged decades of sexual abuse

SEYMOUR – A Brownstown man was arrested Friday, September 29 on felony charges of child molesting, incest, and vicarious sexual gratification.

Seymour Police Department police officers arrested Christopher Green, 57, after a two-day investigation.

The inquiry began on September 27 when detectives investigated a claim that Green, had allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with an underaged victim starting 22 years ago and lasting approximately 11 years, according to police.

Investigators also executed a search warrant at Green’s home and located evidence related to the crimes.

Green was arrested and is being held in the Jackson County Jail.
