Donald L. Merry, 82 of Mitchell, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at his residence.
He was born in Huron on August 31, 1941, to Orland and Josephine (Hicks) Merry. Donald retired from General Motors in Bedford after 30 years of service.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa (Timothy) Golden of Mitchell, two grandsons, Cory Wray of Mitchell, and Morgan (Faith) Wray of Mithell, one great-grandson, Markus Laverne Wray of Mitchell, his fiancée, Linda King, his former wife, Brenda Burgess Reynolds, three sisters, Doris Flath of Bloomfield, Darlene Sullivan of Mitchell, and Kathy Wineinger of French Lick.
Memorial graveside services will be on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Cresthaven Memory Gardens in Bedford, with Greg Isom and Tim Golden, officiating.
