According to Jackson County Sheriff Rick Meyer, Detectives Jesse Hutchinson, Clint Burcham, and J.L. McElfresh arrived on the scene at 8:18 a.m. to investigate a burglary.

The complainant, who was out of state in Tennessee at the time, called the police saying she had video surveillance on her phone of the crime. The video captured two persons breaking into the home around 5 a.m., according to Jackson County Sheriff’s Department dispatch.

The suspects took numerous guns and jewelry from the home and had more items stacked up, which they were possibly going to return for and take, Sheriff Meyer added.

During the investigation, police learned the men were Napier and White.

Jackson County Chief Deputy Dustin Steward and Lt. Adam Nicholson retrieved some of the stolen property from a location in Austin.

Both men were arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown where they are being held without bond pending initial court appearances.

On Thursday, September 21, deputies returned to Scott County and located some of the clothing White and Napier had been wearing along with a bag containing a gun and other stolen items, Sheriff Meyer added.

The investigation is ongoing and further arrests may be forthcoming, according to Sheriff Meyer.
