Matthew Canada hired as BNL’s new principal

BEDFORD – Last week, the NLCS board brought on Matthew Canada as Bedford North Lawrence High School’s new Principal.

The former Assistant Principal at BNL, Matthew already has some experience with the job.

After graduating from BNL himself in 2001, Matthew studied secondary education at Indiana Indiana University in Bloomington. He’s truly a local, and hopefully, the knowledge and experience attending BNL from a student’s point of view will aid him in his efforts to promote student success.

Canada said he is honored by the chance to serve his community and the students of BNL. “Our goal is to build culture and community among our teachers and staff.”
