FRENCH LICK – Jeremy Quinn, 41, of French Lick, is facing charges of animal cruelty after he admitted he fatally injured his dog with a knife.
On Wednesday, Indiana State Trooper Noah Ewing stopped Quinn after he spotted him driving and knew he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
During the traffic stop, Trooper Ewing said Quinn showed signs of being intoxicated. Quinn failed field sobriety tests.
He then refused to perform a chemical test.
Quinn then admitted to fatally injuring his dog.
He was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior arrest, animal cruelty, and wanted on a warrant for criminal mischief.
