Anger over video game lands man in jail

MITCHELL – A Mitchell man was arrested on Tuesday after Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a report a woman had been injured during a domestic fight.

When police arrived at 5:20 p.m. they found a woman with multiple visible injuries including two black eyes.

The woman told police 23-year-old Nathan Henderson had injured her at a home four days ago on Gun Club Road.

The woman said Henderson became angry while playing a video game and threw the controller at her. He then struck her multiple times in the face.

The woman signed a battery affidavit.

Police then went to the home on Gun Smith Road and detained Henderson on charges of domestic battery with a prior conviction, domestic battery
