Laura M. Diehl, 61, of Bedford, passed away on June 22nd at IU Health Hospice House.
Born on August 31, 1961, she was the daughter of Edward Lee Pruett and Eva Joy (Goodman) Pruett.
Laura worked as a home health aide and previously worked at Visteon and Otis Elevator. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was loved dearly by her daughters and family and enjoyed animals, shopping, going to the weekly drawing on Saturdays, and babies.
Surviving Laura are her two daughters, Amanda Hays, and Tricia Stahl; stepdaughter, Jessica Stahl; three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kaetlyn, and Savanna Hays; siblings, Beth Love, Rebekah Luttrell (Dan), Philip (Sonia) Pruett, Lisa (Jack) Clark; along with several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Laura is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Danny Pruett, Laddie Pruett, Mark Pruett, and Bonnie Moffit.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 26th at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford. Burial will follow at the Erie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the service time on Monday, also at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
