“Dr. King’s experience leading an ICI institution makes her the perfect fit for its next leader,” says Christopher Pietruszkiewicz, chair of the ICI board and president of the University of Evansville. “Her exceptional leadership and passion for students will serve ICI and Hoosiers very effectively.”

She is a past chair of the ICI board.

“It is a distinct honor to have been named the next ICI president succeeding Dr. Wantz,” says King. “Having benefitted from ICI’s good work while serving at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, I truly believe in ICI’s mission to serve all 29 private colleges and universities in Indiana collectively. I look forward to leading this important organization.”

King serves on the executive board of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
