Drug arrest made when ISP assists Probation Officer to serve a warrant

HELTONVILLE – A Heltonville man was arrested on Thursday, June 8 after an Indiana State Police trooper assisted a probation officer attempt to locate 41-year-old Casey Todd who was wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke his probation.

The probation officer located Todd standing in his driveway at 2845 Gil Gal Road and the trooper detained him.

The probation officer then searched Todd’s bedroom and found a gram of mixed meth and heroin, He also found a razor blade and a mirror that had meth residue on them, along with a smoking device.

Todd is now facing new charges of possession of meth, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
