MITCHELL – Mitchell Mayor Nathan Jenkins has filed a complaint with the Lawrence County Election Board alleging that Independent Mayor candidate Charles Edwin “Eddie” McLain has not resided in the City of Mitchell for six months.
He is asking the Election Board to remove McLain’s name from the November election ballot.
The hearing is Thursday, June 29 at 1:30 p.m. in the Voter Registration Office at 918 16th Street Suite 200.
