Police warn Linton residents of juveniles selling bogus gift cards

LINTON – Police in Linton have launched a scam investigation after reports of juveniles trying to sell stolen gift cards.

The juveniles are telling prospective buyers they are participating in a “fundraiser” where individuals can pay a small fee for the opportunity to get a gift card with values ranging from $1 to $500.

Police say the gift cards have not been activated and are worth nothing.
