Janet Sue Judah, 77, of Bedford died at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at her residence.
Born March 25, 1946, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Orville and Pearl (Arthur) Sowders. She was a beloved employee who retired from Visteon as a forklift driver.
Survivors include her children Mecca Jones, of Springville, and Shannon Judah, of Bedford; two
grandchildren Kristen Cain, of Bedford, Caitlin Holsapple and her husband Michael, and Allison Hardwick
and her husband Marty, all of Bedford; two great-grandsons: Darrian Cain and Gavin Cain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her partner, Carl Bushee, three brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 26 th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
