South Bend man arrested after dealing drugs

SOUTH BEND – A drug investigation conducted earlier this year by the Indiana State Police Bremen Post All Crimes Policing Team (ACP) continued to grow and ultimately led troopers to an address on Chalfant Street in South Bend.

On Friday, May 19, 2023, troopers served a search warrant on a residence in the 1100 block of Chalfant Street at approximately 6:25 a.m. This warrant resulted in troopers locating six handguns, two that had been reported stolen, more than 400 hundred pills, drug paraphernalia, and approximately $13,000 in United States Currency.  The pills located were identified as Schedule II, III, and IV controlled substances as well as 93 doses of Ketamine.

Ardisha Hogan, 43 of South Bend, was arrested at this residence on charges of dealing and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, dealing and possession of a Scheduled III controlled substance, dealing and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, dealing and possession of a legend drug, possession of contained, felon in possession of a handgun, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

Hogan is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.
