Heltonville man arrested after being found passed out in a vehicle at McDonald’s

BEDFORD – An Heltonville man was arrested on Saturday, May 6 after Bedford Police officers responded to McDonald’s after are report of a male passed out in a white Ford Ranger.

When police arrived, they found 32-year-old Tyler King slouched over in the driver’s seat with his head back and his eyes rolled back into his head.

Officers say King was lethargic. An IU LifeLine ambulance responded to the scene.

In King’s pocket, police found two paper bindles containing crystal meth and in a dental floss container police found fentanyl.

Once Tyler was medically cleared he was transported to jail on charges of possession of meth and possession of a narcotic drug.
