Anthonette “Grouchy” Hedge, 74, of Mitchell, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital.
Born December 9, 1948, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Dale and Lorene (Etchison) Baker. She married Gary Edwin Hedge on September 18, 1971, and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2019.
Toni retired from Walmart and had previously worked at Orscheln. She was a 1966 graduate of Mitchell High School. Toni enjoyed crafting and being outside.
Survivors include her son, Jeremy Hedge of Mitchell; grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, and McKali Hedge; and sister, Janie Hill of Bedford.
Her parents; husband; and siblings, Mike Baker and Pat Baker preceded her in death.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, at Mitchell Cemetery with Brother Kris Beasley officiating.
