MITCHELL – On Wednesday, Mitchell Police Officer Kenton Carter obtained a search warrant for a room at 205 South 5th Street at the “Heartbreak” rooming house.
Officer Carter was assisted by Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies Whitney Daughtery, Bailey Dupree, and Thomas Porter.
During the search of the room, police seized 28 grams of meth, pills, used syringes, and other items involved in the sale and distribution of drugs.
Police arrested 41-year-old Angela Bridgewater, of Springville, on charges of possession and dealing meth over 10 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of a syringe.
