Indiana State Trade and Export Promotion IN-STEP

LAWRENCE CO. – The Indiana State Trade and Export Promotion (IN-STEP) program assists Indiana small businesses in developing and expanding export-related activities, opening up new markets for Hoosier-made goods worldwide.

Indiana ranks among the top 15 exporting states in the U.S., with businesses shipping products and goods such as automotive parts, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural commodities to global customers.

The IN-STEP program aims to continue building on this momentum by assisting small businesses in identifying, marketing, and selling their products or services worldwide.

Under the program, eligible small businesses may apply with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation for reimbursements of export-related activities like participating in international trade missions, foreign trade shows, export educational programs, and other export services provided by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
