MERRILLVILLE – Nearly 60 companies and hundreds of people will be gathering for the annual CAF/NWIBRT Construction Awards banquet – the largest event of its kind in Northwest Indiana.
Those attending will connect with many of the region’s major employers.
Held via a partnership between the Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF) and the Northwest Indiana Business Round Table (NWIBRT), the Construction Awards Banquet is a celebration of the most outstanding achievements in construction and safety over the past year.
The men and women who attend the awards banquet represent the region’s top-level construction leadership and project owners. Representatives from NIPSCO, BP, Cleveland-Cliffs, Franciscan Health, Cargill, and many more leading companies may be in attendance.
Awards are given for excellence in safety standards, innovation, and development in the construction industry for a variety of projects, contractors, and companies. Past winners have included some of the largest construction investments in Indiana’s history.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 11, at Avalon Manor t 3550 East U.S. Highway 30 in Merrillville, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
