BNL finishes fourth in Corydon Invitational

BNL’s Jett Jones carded an 82 during the Corydon Invitational at Old Capital on Saturday.

CORYDON – Bedford North Lawrence finished fourth in Corydon’s Bud Bennett Invitational during boys high school golf action at Old Capital Golf Course on Saturday.

The Stars posted a team total of 341 in the 15-team field. Gibson Southern won the title with 307.

Jett Jones paced the Stars with a round of 82 that included birdies on the seventh and ninth holes, while Colton Staggs (birdie on 17) fired an 83. Houston Corbin (87 with birdie on the 16th) and Drew McKee (89) completed the BNL scoring.

Gibson Southern’s Peyton Blackard was the individual medalist with a 5-under 67.

BNL will host Paoli on Monday at Otis Park.
