Mitchell Police Chief Mike Hardman retires, Troy Lobosky takes the helm

MITCHELL – Mitchell Mayor Nathan Jenkins swore in new Mitchell Police Chief Troy Lobosky this week.

Chief Lobosky has served many years in law enforcement. He has served as a Mitchell Police officer and retired as a captian of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department. He also served in the United States Army.

Chief Lobosky is replacing Chief Mike Hardman who is retiring.

Chief Hardman has served as a police officer since 1982. Chief Hardman served as the MPD’s Chief from 2000-2008 and again from 2012-2016 and from July 2020 until now.
