BEDFORD – Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services will host their annual Spring Tea fundraiser at First Baptist Church 1515 20th Street, Bedford, on Saturday, April 22 from 1-3 p.m.
The event, which supports the group’s mission of aiding those with cancer who live in Lawrence County, will provide those who attend with the opportunity to win door prizes, enjoy hot teas, mini-sandwiches and desserts, as well bid on items donated by local businesses in a silent auction.
All proceeds stay in Lawrence County to help cancer patients with items such as wigs, medicines and transportation for treatments.
Tickets are $20 per person ($7 for preteen girls) and are available at the Bedford Chamber of Commerce.
Attendees are encouraged to bring cash, check or credit/debit card for the silent auction.
