February 19, 1942 – March 30, 2023

Lorena “Kay” Norris, 81, of Mooresville IN, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2023, at St Francis Hospital in Greenwood.

Kay was born in Bedford, IN on February 19, 1942, to Robert E. and Dorothy L. Woods (Louden).  Kay attended Bedford High School. Kay was a stay-at-home mom who loved raising her 3 children.  She was very involved with all of their school functions and extracurricular activities, attending as many as she possibly could.

Once her children were grown she began working outside the home at AFNB bank in Indianapolis until she was hired at Citizens Bank in Mooresville. Kay had a very enjoyable and fulfilling career at Citizens Bank for over 30 years before retiring as Senior Bank Teller at the main branch in Mooresville.  I

t seemed she knew everyone in town and everyone knew her. Kay was always happiest around her family.  Whether she was just watching television, playing cards, sous chef-ing with her son Clint, or having birthday gatherings with the extended family, anything as long as her family was around.  Kay was the most loving person and would do anything for those she loved.  Kay also enjoyed playing euchre with her card club friends.
