MITCHELL – Matt Hill was sworn in by the City of Mitchell and mayor Nathan Jenkins on Thursday to serve as the city’s newest police officer.
Hill is a former police officer with the Mitchell Police Department and retired from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office.
“Matt is very knowledgeable and will be a great addition to our agency,” a post on the department’s Facebook page said.
