Annette Norrick seeks reelection as Oolitic Clerk-Treasurer

OOLITIC – Annette Norrick is seeking re-election as Oolitic Clerk-Treasurer.

Annette Norrick

I was an employee of the Bedford BMV for 16 years before being appointed as Clerk-Treasurer in December 2020.  Although I was born and raised in Fayetteville Indiana, I have deep roots in Oolitic.  My parents Patrick and Janet (Grecco) Pritchett were both born and raised in Oolitic and graduated from the Oolitic High School (Go Bearcats!).

My Grandmother Leon Pritchett held the position of Clerk-Treasurer for more than fifteen years after retiring in 1979.   I can remember as a child how exciting it was to come to the Town Hall and see her working for her Community.

I find it a privilege to follow in her footsteps and continue to do what she did so many years ago.  I  moved into my Grandmother’s house in Oolitic in 2007 and brought a beautiful set of twins into the world in 2010 and Oolitic grew by two.

I love this little town I reside in and would very much like to continue serving Oolitic as Clerk-Treasurer. I have enjoyed bringing events to town, such as Trunk Or Treat and Christmas on Main, and would like to continue to make these an ongoing tradition and offer more activities that bring our residents together.

I am here to Serve the Town of Oolitic and will always support what is best for the Town and its residents.  I have worked with Indiana Bond Bank, Trust Indiana, and Duke Energy to make improvements for our town both with expenses and investments.  I have a good working relationship with the State Board of Accounts, the Department of Local Government Finance,  and the Indiana League of Municipal Clerk-Treasurers.

I would find it a great honor to continue to serve Oolitic and all of its residents.  Oolitic is more than just a town to me – it is home!
