  • 9:16 p.m. Tayler Rasor, 21, Springville,  operating a vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident
  • 11:40 p.m. Jeffrey Hamilton, 60, Oolitic, two counts of battery, disorderly conduct

Incidents – Feb. 16

  • 1:43 a.m. 911 call in the 2000 block of Mitchell Road
  • 2 a.m. Report of an open door found at BNL High School. The officer secured the building
  • 2:40 a.m. Report of a dead deer in the roadway at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37
  • 2:51 a.m. Officers made extra patrols on Tunnelton Road
  • 3:07 a.m. Traffic stop in the 1000 block of State Road 37. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation

Incidents – Feb. 15

  • 5:11 a.m. Officers made extra patrols on Kozy Fireplace Road
  • 6:58 a.m. School patrols at Shawswick Elementary
  • 7:50 a.m. Request for animal control in the 7000 block of Suddarth Lane to check on the welfare of four dogs that have not been fed or given water in several days. Police say the dogs were healthy and had food and water. Two of the dogs had knocked over their water and the officer gave them new water
  • 8:31 a.m. Request for animal control to the 3000 block of Eire Church Road after a pit bull attacked the caller’s dog
  • 8:48 a.m. Report of a lockout in the 100 block of Helmar Drive
  • 8:56 a.m. An information report was taken on Hancock Avenue
  • 9:00 a.m. 911 call in the 2000 block of Industrial Park Drive. The caller reported a male is threatening him. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 10:09 a.m. Request for animal control in the 800 block of Patriot Lane for stray kittens under a trailer
  • 10:48 a.m. Request for an officer in the 3000 block of Dixie Highway  
  • 11:04 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, north of Old State Road 37
  • 11:20 a.m. Request for an officer in the 900 block of Summit Lane
  • 12:07 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1000 block of Dixie Highway
  • 12:28 p.m. Request for animal control in the 3000 block of Maul Ridge Road. The caller said dogs running loose attempted to attack the caller’s daughter and grandson. The owner of the dog was issued a written warning
  • 12:53 p.m. 911 call at 27th and U streets. The caller witnessed someone abusing a female and they were driving away. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 1:09 p.m. Fraud was reported in the 500 block of Murdock Station Road. The caller says there were multiple charges on their credit card they did not make. The charges were made over the internet out of state
  • 1:18 p.m. 911 call in the 20 block of Hoosier Avenue in Oolitic
  • 1:22 p.m. 911 call in the 2000 block of 39th Street reporting two dogs that are fighting and there is blood everywhere. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 1:32 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 600 block of 9th Street in Oolitic. There were no issues
  • 2:07 p.m. Document service in the 1000 block of Summit Lane
  • 2:10 p.m. Citizen assist in the 4000 block of Old State Road 37
  • 2:43 p.m. 911 call hang up at Hancock Avenue and Teke Burton Drive
  • 2:49 p.m. Follow-up investigation at the Probation Department
  • 2:52 p.m. Domestic fight in the 700 block of West Main Street
  • 2:57 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 700 block of West Grissom Avenue
  • 3:02 p.m. 911 call in the 500 block of Fellowship Drive

  • 3:28 p.m. A male was at the station to report a juvenile has run away. The juvenile was located. Once the child was leaving the station he ran off again
  • 3:45 p.m. Report of an incident in the 1000 block of West Bishop Boulevard. A minor was cited for possession of a tobacco product
  • 3:51 p.m. 911 call in the 200 block of Second Street in Oolitic. It was an accidental call
  • 3:56 p.m. Domestic fight in the 1000 block of WPA Road. The caller said her mother attempted to take her car and hit her. A female was detained
  • 4:06 p.m. Request for animal control in the 20 block of Maple Ridge Road for a dog running loose

  • 6:43 p.m. 911 call in the 2000 block of 7th Street. A person was going through the caller’s mail
  • 7:02 p.m. Traffic stop at 17th and H streets. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation
  • 7:02 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 1000 block of West Grissom Avenue
  • 7:16 p.m. Report of an erratic driver on a dark sport bike on State Road 37 and State Road 60 East
  • 7:19 p.m. Citizen assist in the 3000 block of Tunnelton Road. The woman said she and her husband have been arguing and she locked him out of the house
  • 7:23 p.m. Controlled fire in the 100 block of Treslar Street
  • 7:30 p.m. Report of an unwanted person in the 400 block of West Oak Street. The caller says a person has taken her dog and refuses to give it back
  • 7:38 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver Ford Escape traveling North on State Road 37
  • 7:43 p.m. An information report was taken at Mitchell Manor. The caller just was wanting to talk to someone
  • 8:34 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 East and South 2nd Street
  • 8:39 p.m. Traffic stop at South 9th Street and State Road 60 East
  • 8:52 p.m. 911 call in the 7000 block of State Road 60 
  • 8:58 p.m. 911 call in the 1000 block of Dixie Highway
  • 9:03 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Sinclair station. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation
  • 9:21 p.m. Two trucks are racing and now tailgating the caller’s vehicle at State Road 37 at Gun Club Road. One truck turned off on State Road 60
  • 10:23 p.m. Request for a welfare check at State Road 60 East and State Road 37. A male was detained
  • 11:19 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Patton Hill Road. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation
