When police arrived they spoke to 27-year-old Austin Goen and found 20-year-old Sabrina Leggett hiding in a closet. A second male was also at the apartment and was permitted to leave.

While at the apartment officers found a black drawstring bag on a recliner with six small plastic bags inside. Each of those bags contained 21 grams of crystal meth. Officers also found two metallic grinders containing marijuana and a glass smoking device with THC wax.

Both Leggett and Goen were detained.

Both denied the drugs were theirs and didn’t know how the items had gotten into the apartment.

Goen did take ownership of the grinders and the marijuana inside of them.

Both Goen and Leggett were transported to the Bedford Police Department. The transporting officer noticed she was able to get free from her handcuffs. When the officer placed Leggett back in the handcuffs, she noticed a small plastic bag that contained a brown substance, which later tested positive for fentanyl.

Goen and Leggett are facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
