Arrests – Feb. 6

  • 3:10 a.m.  Erin Poore, 27, Spencer, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, OWI with a blood alcohol content of 0.15 or above
  • 8:47 p.m. Jerome Jones, 26, Mitchell, two counts of battery resulting in bodily injury
  • 8:47 p.m. Tyreke Young, 28, Indianapolis, two counts of battery resulting in bodily injury

  • 12:00 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at 29th Street and Washington Avenue
  • 12:09 a.m. Report of an erratic driver traveling north on State Road 37 and Art Gallery Road

  • 1:40 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Parks Implement Road. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation

  • 2:32 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle on Limestone Run Road

  • 3:17 a.m. Traffic stop in the 1000 block of N Street. The driver was given a written warning for a traffic violation

Incidents – Feb. 6

  • 6:19 a.m. Report of an unwanted person in the 1000 block of West Grissom Avenue. A male forced entry to her home and then locked her out. She claimed she had a protective order against the male. Police say there was no protective order on file. Police say the woman has possible mental issues
  • 6:47 a.m. Request for animal control in the 1000 block of Trogdon Lane. The caller reported the neighbor’s dogs are constantly running loose in her yard and messing with her chickens. A written warning was issued to the dog’s owners
  • 7:09 p.m. An information report was taken in the 3000 block of Tunnelton Road. The caller reported her husband is out with her son and won’t tell her when he is coming back. The woman wants to file a restraining order against him
  • 7:22 a.m. School patrols at Shawswick Elementary
  • 8:43 a.m. Request for animal control in the 200 block of Briarwood Lane for a stray cat
  • 9:29 a.m. Fraud was reported in the 900 block of West Powerline Road

  • 10:31 a.m. Request for animal control in the 300 block of Kentucky Hollow Road. The caller reported her ex-boyfriend is blowing marijuana smoke in his three dogs’ faces

  • 5:28 p.m. Request for animal control at 7th and G streets in Bedford for a dog running loose
  • 5:43 p.m. Agency assist at Maple and Adams street in Orleans. A female was detained
  • 6:17 p.m. 911 call in the 1000 block of Hillcrest Road. It was an accidental call
  • 6:47 p.m. An information report was taken at Mitchell Manor. A resident reported there was a possible fire. The woman suffers from dementia
  • 7:16 p.m. Traffic stop at West Main and 11th streets. The driver was issued a verbal warning for traveling too slow
