Jack Martin Dixon, 83, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Paoli Health and Living.
Born on April 6, 1939, he was the son of Martin and Marjorie (Glover) Dixon. He married Ronda Grove on April 21, 2010, and she survives.
Jack worked as a long-haul driver. He was a graduate of Shawswick High School and was a member of the National Guard. Jack’s life reflected his love of the Lord every day and through his attendance at Fairview Community Church.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Jack are his wife, Ronda; three daughters, Jacque (Doug) Raines of Bedford, Jennie Haley of Florida, and Jeri Lou (Steve) Menke of Florida; one step-daughter, Korina Dusard of Bedford; two stepsons, Brad Bough of Bedford and JJ (Glenda) Bough of Bedford; six grandchildren, Brice, Breanna, Brittany, Karington, Bristen, Bradly; two step-grandchildren, Hank and Josie; six great-grandchildren, Ellie, Scarlett, River, Colin, Cameron, and Trenton; and two step-great-grandchildren, Ollie and Nel.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Trent Bough; grandson, Brandon Haley; and half-brother, David Dixon.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 6, 2023, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford. Burial will follow at the Leatherwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. also at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel, and from 10:00 a.m. to the service time on Monday.
