When police arrived at the apartment, Elliott answered the door. Elliott attempted to shut the door when officers informed him that he was under arrest. Officers made entry and attempted to detain Elliott who resisted. An officer had to use a TASER to get Elliott to cooperate.

That is when Clause exited a bedroom and was detained.

On the couch, in the living room, police found a metal tray with a grinder, a glass jar containing marijuana, and a glass smoking device with meth residue.

Officers then obtained a search warrant for the apartment. During the search, they found several smoking devices with meth and marijuana residue, cut straws, two clear plastic baggies containing meth, THC wax, a metal grinder, a jar containing marijuana, a  vape pen with a THC cartridge, and other items.Â
