MITCHELL – Two people were arrested after Mitchell Police officers served a search warrant in the 900 block of West Main Street.

Police arrested 42-year-old Terry Lewis on charges of possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, and maintaining a common nuisance, and 35-year-old Kimberly Pridemore on charges of possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the search warrant was executed on Thursday, December 1, at 5:36 p.m. Officers knocked loudly on the door to announce their presence several times but no one answered. After a third attempt and no answer, officers kicked the door open.
Four people were found inside the home and were detained, where Lewis and Pridemore were found in a bedroom. In Pridemore’s purse, police found a glass smoking device, a cut straw, and a plastic baggie that contained meth residue. Pridemore admitted the items were hers.
In the bedroom, police found syringes, three glass smoking devices, scales, and a baggie with meth residue. Lewis admitted those items were his.
