HENDRICKS CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces nightly, intermittent lane restrictions on I-70 eastbound and westbound from State Road 267 to State Road 39 starting on or after Saturday, December 3 for a patching operation.

The restrictions, near Plainfield, are expected to remain in effect until the end of December, weather permitting. Work will happen on the weekdays, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Indiana State Police will be on-site for traffic control.
This project was awarded to Milestone Contractors, L.P. for over $44 million. This project also includes rehabilitation work on the S.R. 267 bridge over I-70, pavement rehabilitation work at the S.R. 267 and I-70 interchange, and various culvert replacements along I-70. The project also includes the installation of signs, lighting, signals, and pavement markings along I-70. It’s expected to be completed in June of 2023.
