BEDFORD – A Bedford woman complained of pain after a two-vehicle accident at 5:53 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Patton Hill Road and State Road 37.
According to a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department report, 74-year-old Ryan Ronnie, of Avoca was traveling south on State Road 37 in a 2004 Jeep Liberty. At the same time 43-year-old Angela Otwell, 43, of Bedford was stationary in a 2015 Kia Optima on Patton Hill Road waiting to turn right onto State Road 37. Police say Ronnie attempted to turn left onto Patton Hill Road and crashed into Otwell’s vehicle. Ronnie told police he was traveling too fast to make the turn.
Otwell complained of pain, but refused medical treatment at the scene.
