A traffic stop and subsequent search leads to police finding syringes and meth

SULLIVAN CO. – Monday, November 14, 2022, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Trooper William Clark of the Putnamville State Police Post stopped a passenger vehicle on State Road 54 near Section Street in Sullivan, for exceeding the posted speed limit. 

The driver of the passenger vehicle was identified as Jonathan Clymer, 28, of Terre Haute.  A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Isaac Bradbury, 28, of Dugger. 

During the conversation with Clymer and Bradbury, criminal indicators were observed.  Probable cause resulted in a search of the vehicle which located approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine, 67 hypodermic syringes, drug paraphernalia, anabolic steroids, and a large number of small plastic baggies.  Both Clymer and Bradbury were taken into custody and transported to the Sullivan County Jail without incident.

Further investigation discovered that Jonathan Clymer was wanted on an active warrant out of Vigo County for arson.  

Clymer faces charges of dealing meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of meth, possession of anabolic steroids, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a warrant for arson.

Bradbury faces charges of possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
