Mitchell’s Cadden McCormick named Genius Jock for the month of November

MITCHELL – Cadden McCormick, a senior at Mitchell High School, has been named the Genius Jock for the month of November presented by the attorneys at Pittman Law firm, Greg Pittman and Michelle Woodward.

Cadden, the son of John and Sandra McCormick, represents the student-athlete in every aspect imaginable at Mitchell High School. A two-year member of the soccer team, and member of the school’s E-Sports team, Cadden has been able to maintain a healthy balance on the field and in the classroom, carrying a 4.259 GPA.

A member of the National Honors Society, Key Club, Academic Team, and Peer Leader at the school, Cadden continues to show the importance of academics.

In his free time, Cadden has volunteered at the Bread of Life Food Pantry, and the Christmas and Toy sales hosted by Capstone Ministries for multiple years while also receiving the Scholastic M award, Student of the Month with the Rotary Club, and being honored on the Deans list at Ivy Tech Community College.

Cadden hopes to continue his education at Purdue University where he plans to study Theoretical Mathematics and Physics.
