  • 1:32 a.m. Traffic stop in the 4000 block of State Road 37 at the Sinclair station. The driver was issued a veral warning for a traffic violation
  • 1:50 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in Huron
  • 2:10 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 58 East and Boyd Lane. The driver was issued a verbal warning for an equipment violation
  • 2:55 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Main Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning for a traffic violation

  • 8:37 a.m. Request for animal control in the 200 block of Martin Hollow Road
  • 8:50 a.m. Request for a welfare check on children in the 200 block of Palestine Road. The caller said there is possibly no running water at the home. No one was home, but there was electricity because the lights were on
  • 9:09 a.m. 911 call on Wilkins Way reporting the odor of gas in the area. Lehigh gas was servicing today
  • 9:40 a.m. Disabled vehicle was reported in the 5000 block of US 50 East
  • 9:44 a.m. Traffic stop in the 2000 block of Mitchell Road. The driver was issued a  citation for expired license plates
  • 9:45 a.m. Traffic stop in the 3000 block of Tunnelton Road. The driver was issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction
  • 9:45 a.m. Follow-up investigation on theft in the 7000 block of North County Road 475 East
  • 10:27 a.m. A school resource officer reported an incident at Mitchell High School. Two minors were issued citations for minor in possession of a tobacco product
  • 10:47 a.m. 911 call in the 9000 block of Wininger Road requesting an ambulance
  • 10:52 a.m. Warrant service in the 3000 block of 16th Street in the Lowes parking lot. A male was arrested
  • 10:57 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a child unsupervised and in the roadway in the 600 block of Wallner Quarry Road. An officer spoke to the child’s mother who was asleep. She told the officer it had never happened before. She said it won’t happen again
  • 11:04 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a male in the 80 block of Easy Street. The caller said no one has heard from the man in a week and that is out of character for him
  • 11:11 a.m. The Department of Child Services reported a child has reported child abuse in the 1000 block of Art Gallery Road. Indiana State Police are investigating
  • 11:23 a.m. Report of a suspicious person was reported at the intersection of State Road 37 and Dixie Highway. A male was standing near the highway throwing items at a vehicle.
  • 11:25 a.m. A female was on station to report her 26-year-old son was out of control and threatening her
  • 11:45 a.m. A male was at the station to report he had been scammed
  • 11:47 a.m. A man was at the station to report he was scammed on Facebook
  • 12:07 p.m. Fire alarm sounding at Springville Academy. There was no issue
  • 12:55 p.m. Request for animal control in the 1000 block of Port Williams Road for five puppies that have been dumped
  • 1:17 p.m. Request for animal control on State Road 37 near Crossroads Church for a German Shepard on the side of the road. The dog was taken to the White River Humane Society
  • 1:51 p.m. Report of a disabled vehicle at Mitchell Road and 20th Street near Greenhill Cemetery
  • 2:14 p.m. Follow-up investigation in the 300 block of Stove Road. Drug paraphernalia was collected by an officer
  • 2:22 p.m. Agency assist the Department of Child Services to assist with the removal of a child from a home in the 1000 block of Art Gallery Road
  • 2:29 p.m. A person was at the station for a foster agreement for one puppy
  • 2:35 p.m. Fire alarm sounding at Mitchell Manor. It was a false alarm
  • 2:56 p.m. Report of three dogs attacking another dog and a woman in the 400 block of Dean Street. The owner of one of the dogs gave up their rights to the animal and it will be taken to the White River Humane Society
  • 3:34 p.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell and SandPit roads
  • 3:07 p.m. Agency assist with Indiana State Police on a traffic stop at Sheridan Drive and Glendale Way
  • 4:14 p.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell Road and 22nd Street. The driver was given a written warning for a traffic violation
  • 4:29 p.m. 911 call on State Road 37 reporting an erratic driver traveling northbound on State Road 37
  • 4:53 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 300 block of Hillcrest Way
  • 5:05 p.m. Request for animal control in the 3000 block of State Road 58 East for a dog in the roadway
  • 5:44 p.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell Road at Roots Motel
  • 6:34 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a gold Nissan Altima at US 50 East and Eastside Lane. An officer followed the vehicle and witnessed no erratic behavior
  • 6:55 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and Woody Farm Road
  • 6:57 p.m. Follow-up investigation in the 500 block of Liberty Bell Street
  • 7:05 p.m. Request for a welfare check on two young children who have been left unattended for several hours in the 1000 block of Camelot Court. A 9-year-old child said he was home with his mother who was in bed. There were no signs of a disturbance and the child was playing with toys
  • 7:25 p.m. Traffic stop US 50 East at Ikerd Lane
  • 7:26 p.m. Report of a fight at North 4th and Warren streets. The male caller said he “got jumped on Warren Street by three or four people”. The male suffered a scrap to his knee
  • 7:36 p.m. A resident in the 400 block of Wicker Bottom Road reported her credit card information was stolen and used to order stuff and had it shipped to Constitution Avenue
  • 7:38 p.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell Road and 22nd Street
  • 7:42 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and Limestone Run Road. A written warning was issued for an equipment violation
  • 7:46 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white F-150 traveling north on State Road 37 and Dillon Road
  • 8:21 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 58 East and Riley Boulevard. The driver was issued a written warning for a traffic violation
  • 8:27 p.m. 911 call in the 1000 block of Old State Road 450. It was an accidental call
  • 8:36 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and Leatherwood Road. The driver was issued a verbal warning for a traffic violation
  • 8:57 p.m. Citizen assist in the 400 block of Stevens Lane. The caller said he was not home but his wife said someone was knocking on windows and making “weird noises” when the husband arrived the person was gone and request to speak to an officer. Officers will make extra patrols
  • 9:15 p.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37 at Storage Express. The driver was given a verbal warning for having a headlight out
  • 9:24 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Rariden Hill. The driver was given a verbal warning for having a headlight out
  • 10:01 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 400 block of Norman Road for a person sleeping at the church in a Toyota Avalon. The caller said this had become a nightly thing
  • 10:11 p.m. Domestic fight in the 2000 block of Rariden Hill Road. The dispatcher heard yelling and then the caller hung up. Dispatch called back and the caller said there was no problem a child was playing with the phone. Police arrived and separated both parties for the night
  • 10:40 p.m. Agency assist with ISP on State Road 37 and Main Street
  • 10:48 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and Stove Road. The driver was issued a verbal warning for an equipment violation
  • 11:00 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in Greenhill Addition
  • 11:09 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and 29th Street. The driver was given a verbal warning for expired license plates and the front headlight needed fixed
  • 11:15 p.m. Domestic fight in the 4000 block of Vinegar Hill Road. The caller said her daughter was with another person and this person had beaten her daughter up in the past. The caller is concerned for her daughter’s safety. The caller is in a gray Honda HRV and is pulled over while waiting for an officer
  • 11:25 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and 16th Street. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation
