BEDFORD – Bedford Mayor Sam Craig swore in and welcomed Bedford Police Officer Taylor Daugherty during the Board of Works and Safety meeting Monday afternoon.
Daugherty has always wanted to serve as an officer and to have the opportunity to serve the community and finally took that step by joining the Bedford Police Department.
Officer Daugherty had family and friends present during the meeting, including her parents David and Diana, and her twin sister Whitney who currently serves as a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputy.
