BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence qualified for its fourth consecutive state finals, winning the Unified track regional on Saturday at BNL.

The Stars totaled 129 points to edge Avon (115) in the 12-team field.

Section winners for BNL included Tanner Robbins (12.04 in the 100 meter dash), Alice Bair (100), Brax Huber (55.60 in the 400), Jesselyn Fisher (400), the girls 400 relay, the boys 400 relay, and Alex Nubbie (shot put).

“This season has been a lot of fun, and the kids have really pushed themselves,” BNL coach Mike Branam said. “We are peaking at the right time. We had multiple personal bests today, and I think we are right where we need to be for next week. Our kids are hoping to improve on their finish from last year.”
