The Stars also won the 400 relay (53.23) and 800 relay (1:57.85).

“Great effort all around,” BNL coach Jim Lewis said. “We knew we were solid in some events, but to win a meet like that was awesome for our girls, especially going into the conference and sectional.”

In the boys meet, BNL recorded wins by Noah Carter (15.79 in the 110 high hurdles), Zane Thompson (11.69 in the 100), Frank Decker (9-0 in the pole vault), Coleton Sears (19-3 in the long jump) and Brayden Patterson (5-11 in the high jump).

“Our sprinters were awesome again tonight,” BNL coach Brett Deckard said. “I tell the boys every night that every place counts. A place here or there, and we win, but we competed hard and did what we could. Jennings is real strong in the distances.”

BNL’s girls will compete in the Hoosier Hills Conference meet on Tuesday.
