MONROE/BROWN CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to implement daily closures on S.R. 45 starting on or after Monday, April 18, to replace a series of culverts in Monroe and Brown Counties.

The road will close daily at various locations between Unionville and S. Shore Drive. Work is planned from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Local access will be maintained for residents within each closure; thru traffic should use an alternate route. Daily closures will continue through late April.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
