The driver of the vehicle, 41-year-old Rory Case, and his passenger 24-year-old Brittney Tincher were arrested on drug charges.

Brittney Tincher

Police say Case appeared extremely nervous and was sweating when the officer approached his vehicle. Tincher also was reaching into her bag and was told numerous times to stop.

Case told police there was nothing illegal in his vehicle but denied officers consent to search the vehicle.

A canine was on the scene and alerted officers to drugs in the vehicle.

In the vehicle, officers found a glass smoking pipe containing meth. In Case’s sock, police found a baggie containing crystal meth.

Police also found Fentanyl, pills, and a vape cartridge containing marijuana in Tincher’s bag. She told officers she had a syringe in her bra and they also found a syringe in her coat pocket.

Both were arrested and taken to jail. A third person in the vehicle was released from the scene.

Case faces charges of possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Tincher faces charges of possession of a narcotic drug, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
