BLOOMINGTON – Alexis Harmon was named Director of Educational Technology for the Monroe County Community School Corporation.
Harmon has most recently been serving as the principal at the Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship. She also has served as a district instructional coach and teacher for MCCSC and as a Career Pathway Coordinator for North Lawrence Community Schools.
Harmon received her degree in English from the University of Washington, a master’s in curriculum studies from Indiana University, and most recently received her master’s in business administration from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Information Services department and supporting the mission and vision of MCCSC in this new capacity,: Harmon said. “Throughout my career in MCCSC, I have been so well-served by their hard work, so I’m honored for the opportunity to lead this talented team.”
