Karena Dawn Allen, 46, of Oolitic, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at IU Health West Hospital in Avon.
Born April 18, 1975, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Larry and Penny (Hicks) Ashcraft. Karena married Roy Allen in 2013.
Karena was a graduate of Ivy Tech and a sales associate. She enjoyed her work and loved her dogs. Karena was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Allen, of Oolitic; children, Derrick (Shaily Saucerman) Eisele of Mitchell, Devin Jamison of Mitchell, Linda (Zane Parks) Jamison of Mitchell; stepson, Clayton Allen of Columbus; mother and stepfather, Penny and Alan Pridemore of Mitchell; father and stepmother, Larry and Carolyn Ashcraft; grandchildren, Kharsin Eisele, Kolten Eisele, Hadleigh Eisele, and Nova Phelps; sister, Teri Lewis of Ball Ground, Georgia; stepbrother, Jason Pridemore of Bedford; stepsister, Amber Pridemore of Mitchell.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 10, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Dwight Dunbar officiating. The burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
