Vehicle crashes into home, no one injured

SOLSBERRY – A vehicle crashed into a home on North State Road 42 at Washington Street in Solsberry on Sunday afternoon. 

Greene County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded at 3:15 p.m.

According to a report by Sergeant Jordan Allor, the driver 54-year-old Linda Jordan, of Solsbery was driving a 1985 Ford F-350 north on State Road 43 when the brakes failed on the vehicle causing the truck to leave the roadway and strike a residence. 

Police say there was one juvenile in the home at the time of the crash but they were not injured. The homeowner’s name was not listed in the accident report.

Linda Jordan and her passenger 58-year-old Mac Jordan were not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.

Assisting at the scene were an Indiana Conservation Officer, Beech Creek Township Fire Department, Center Township Fire Department, Green County Ambulance Service, and Ken’s Westside Towing.
