According to a probable cause affidavit on that day officers assisted a parole agent to conduct a search of an RV located behind a home in the 520 block of West Grissom Avenue.

After arriving at the RV the people living there arrived, a male and Wininger.

The woman said there was a pit bull inside the RV and it would bite those that entered. She was allowed to enter the RV and secure the dog.

The parole officer and a Mitchell Police officer entered the RV. The officers located 3.25 grams of meth, digital scales, a glass smoking pipe, and other drug paraphernalia.

Both Wininger and the male denied the items belonged to them.

The information was forwarded to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office and a warrant was issued for Wininger’s arrest.
