Boil Order issued for some residents on R Street

BEDFORD – Effective today, November 10, Bedford City Utilities has issued a precautionary boil order for the following addresses: 

  • 915 R Street
  • 1001 R Street
  • 1005 R Street 

This precautionary boil order will remain in force until further notice. The order is being issued due to replacing a fire hydrant. 

Bring all water to a boil. 

Let water boil vigorously for 2 minutes. Let the water cool before using, or alternatively, use bottled water. 

Pre-boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, brushing teeth, washing vegetables, washing dishes, making infant formula, all food preparation, and consumption, and making or using ice until further notice.
