Bedford man arrested after police find meth

BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested Thursday after a Bedford Police Officer was called to the Department of Child Services while following up on an investigation of child abuse.

Justin Chastain

While en route, an officer stopped the accused motorcycle as 33-year-old Justin Chastain was turning into his driveway.

The officer discovered Chastain was a habitual traffic offender and he was arrested.

While searching Chastain, police found a glass smoking device and a white container that contained two baggies and three cellophane wrappers containing crystal meth.

He was then arrested on charges of possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
