SPRINGVILLE – One person was injured in a traffic accident on State Road 54 near Grace Lane involving three vehicles in a head-on collision.
According to police a juvenile of Springville was westbound on State Road 54 in her 2016 Jeep Cherokee and rear-ended a 2016 Ford Fusion driven by Thomas R. Porter, age 23 of Springville. This pushed the vehicle in the eastbound lane of State Road 54 causing a head-on collision with a 2018 Canon driven by Thomas J. Nor, age 47 of Springville.
Porter was treated at the scene for injuries.
State Road 54 was closed for several minutes while emergency crews worked the accident.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, Seals Ambulance, and Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
