Two arrested on meth and heroin charges

BEDFORD – A Mitchell man was arrested after a Bedford Police officer stopped a car driven by 29-year-old Jennifer Willis on July 1 for having a truck license plate on the vehicle. The vehicle was stopped at 18th and D streets.

Police say the driver and passenger 22-year-old Dalson Terrell, appeared nervous.

The officers were given permission to search the vehicle. 

Willis told police there were used syringes in her purse. Her driver’s license was also suspended.

During the vehicle search officers located one crystal rock of meth sitting in the passenger seat, multiple used syringes in the rear passenger seat inside a purse, a glass smoking device, and one crystal rock of meth in the front passenger seat.

When Terrell exited the patrol vehicle, police found white residue and heroin in a plastic bag.  

Terrell and Willis were arrested on charges of possession of meth, possession of heroin and unlawful possession of a syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
